I grew up frugally and raised a family frugally, in the middle of Kansas and now live a somewhat solitary, self-indulgent life in East Texas. I love tea and every thing that is associated with it and books of many genres, current and the not so. Trivia is a constant fascination for me but unfortunately the older I get the less of it I remember.
Like the cat, my curiosity has taken me often, unexpectedly, down unplanned paths. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Beautiful blog! Thank you so much for visiting mine. I moved to California, about two years ago, from the Dallas area. Happy blogging. I hope to see more from you soon. Best wishes ~ Vida
Thank you Vida.
I love tea pots and tea. My Mother and I collect tea pots. Love your blog!
Thanks Victoria, as you can see I love them too and I collect tea cups made in Occupied Japan.
You have a wonderful collection!
I have 3 cups and saucers made in Occupied Japan, my prize pieces.
I am running out of space.
Thanks for coming by my blog. I love tea as well, especially chai made the traditional Indian way, in a big saucepan kept warm on the stove for hours. But for me any tea, in a big mug, is the best thing in the world. Keep up the lovely posts 🙂
Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier today. It is always nice to meet new bloggers especially those who enjoy tea and books. 🙂 I’m sure I’ll be back to visit again.
I think those unexpected paths in life offer us far more then the ones we walk each day.
